The NLVBA has several activities throughout the year

The North Lake Village Business Association with the help of the Pasadena Enterprise Zone is drumming up support from government, small businesses and its surrounding neighborhoods. It is our vision to turn Lake Avenue into a vibrant business area.

It is made up of companies whose offices are located along Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Unlike Old Town Pasadena, South Lake and the Playhouse District, it focuses on local artists and encourage a family atmosphere.

Through its dialogue with the local government, the NLVBA has helped clean the streets, added more security, added garbage disposal machines, lobbied for restaurant regulations and zoning. The NLVBA also influences traffic regulations and enforcement. The members have participated in summer festivals, the Pasadena marathon, and Christmas activities.

It is composed of small to meduim sized enterprises --- from self-employed entrepreneurs to international corporations. It is a melting pot of ethnicities that are aware of the power of cooperation.
